Delete your data

Last updated 17 October 2026

One message and it's gone. Here's exactly how to ask, and what happens next.

How to ask

Email taner@spottable.com.au with the subject "Delete my data", or send the same request as an Instagram message to @spottable.com.au.

Tell us how you contacted us so we can find your records: the email address or phone number you used, and your Instagram username if it was a message or comment on Instagram.

We may reply to check the request came from you, so we never delete someone else's records.

What we delete

Your form submissions, from our website host (Netlify) and from our email.

Our Instagram reply records about you: your account's ID number, the keyword or button, the time, and whether a reply was sent.

Emails and notes about you, and any business contact details we noted from public sources.

We finish within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by email or Instagram message once it's done.

What we can't delete

Records the law makes us keep. If you were a client, invoices and payment records are kept for five years for tax. Everything else goes.

Things on Instagram and Facebook themselves. Your comments and messages live on Instagram, which Meta controls. You can delete your own comment on the post and delete the conversation in your Instagram messages. Any ad data Meta holds is managed in your Facebook or Instagram settings, under Meta's own privacy policy.

Just want us to stop?

Reply "stop" to any email or message and we won't contact you again. More detail is in our privacy policy at spottable.com.au/privacy-policy.
