What we collect

Details you send us through the contact form or by email: your name, your business name, your email address, the goals you tick, anything you write in the message box, and a phone number if you choose to give one. The free homepage form also asks for your phone number, your current website if you have one, and whether we may contact you by phone, email or SMS.

Business contact details that are publicly listed, for example on a business website or directory, so we can introduce our services.

Material you give us for a job, such as photos or videos. We only use it as agreed with you in writing before the work starts.

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information with each request (IP address, browser and device type, and the pages requested). It is used to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies and analytics

We use one advertising tool: the Meta Pixel (Meta is the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It only runs if you say OK when the site asks. It sets a cookie that tells us which of our ads led to an enquiry, so we spend less on ads that don't work.

If you said OK and then send us an enquiry, we also send Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address and phone number, so Meta can match the enquiry to the ad you saw. Meta can't read your details from the scrambled copy, but it can match it to an account it already holds. We don't send the rest of your message.

Say no and none of this happens; the site works the same. To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and you'll be asked again. You can also manage ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.

To send you information about our services, which you can stop at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the business, such as our website host, our email provider and, with your OK, the tools used to make your content. Some of these store information overseas, for example in the United States. We never sell your information.

Emails from us

Every marketing email says who it is from and has a simple way to unsubscribe. We act on unsubscribes promptly.

Keeping it safe and how long we keep it

We keep information in secure, password-protected services, and only for as long as we need it to work with you and to meet our legal obligations. Then we delete it.

Seeing or fixing your information

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Email taner@spottable.com.au and we will respond within 30 days.
